Lava spewed from Hawaii's Kilauea volcano on Saturday, footage from the United States Geological Survey (USGS) captured. The USGS Hawaiian Volcano Observatory said sustained lava fountains of approximately 50-100 feet (15-30 meters) in height were erupting from the north vent and that the heights of the lava fountains were rapidly increasing. Kīlauea’s summit eruption remains paused, but signs of activity continue.
